Companies
Crypto Valley company directory — profiles of 1,100+ blockchain companies registered in Zug and Switzerland, with founding data, leadership, funding, and regulatory status.
Directory of blockchain companies registered in Zug and the broader Crypto Valley corridor.
The Crypto Valley ecosystem now comprises over 1,700 companies spanning the full spectrum of blockchain activity, from Layer 1 protocol development to regulated custody and tokenised securities issuance. Zug alone accounts for 719 of these entities – a 49 per cent increase reflecting the canton’s continued dominance as the preferred domicile for blockchain foundations and operating companies alike.
Company profiles in this directory are compiled from Swiss commercial register filings, FINMA licensing records, and publicly disclosed funding data. Each entry includes founding date, registered address, legal structure (AG, GmbH, Stiftung, or Verein), known leadership, disclosed funding rounds, and sector classification. Where companies hold FINMA authorisations or are members of a self-regulatory organisation, this is noted.
The directory covers entities across all 26 cantons, though concentration remains heaviest in Zug, Zurich, and the Lake Geneva arc. Notable clusters include Ethereum Foundation and its surrounding ecosystem in Zug, the stablecoin and payments corridor in Zurich, and the growing DeFi presence in the Romandie region.
Profile data is updated on a rolling basis using commercial register monitoring, press disclosures, and CV VC ecosystem reporting. Inclusion in this directory does not constitute endorsement. All information is presented for research and reference purposes only.
